The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Marilyn May
Marilyn C. May, 73, 281 Spring St., St. Henry, died at 9:37 p.m. Aug. 23, 2008, at Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Minster to Edward and Catherine Homan Prenger. On July 7, 1956, she married Ralph C. May, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Judy (Ken) Sudhoff, Fort Recovery, Brenda (Greg) Honingford, Coldwater, and Janet (Dan) Wynk, Montezuma; four brothers, Edward Jr. (Jeannie), Wilfred (Carol), Alvin (Mary), Bob (Doris), Ken (Diane), all of Minster, and Tom (Donna), Tipp City; two sisters, Norma (Leo) O'Reilly, Minster, and Lorena (Norman) Bohman, Maria Stein; and ten grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home St. Henry.
