The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Mary Dues
Mary Kathrine "Katy" Dues, 84, St. Henry, died at 4:20 p.m. Jan. 31, 2011, at the Gardens at St. Henry in St. Henry.
She was born June 4, 1926, in St. Henry to Ben and Martha Droesch Eyink. On April 23, 1960, she married Carl L. Dues, who died Sept. 2, 2001.
Surviving are brothers- and sisters-in-law, Alice Eyink, Catherine Dues, Geneva Dues and Edgar Dues, all of St. Henry, Elveria Meuret, Dayton, Alice Cromwell, Gahanna, Mark and Shirley Dues, St. Marys, and Florence Snider, Coldwater.
Also deceased is a brother, Dennis Eyink; and in-laws, Cyril Dues, William Dues, Alma and Tom Osterfeld, Don Meuret, Hollie Cromwell, Mary Dues and Wayne Snider.
She was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, the Coldwater Eagles Auxiliary, Daughters of Isabella in St. Henry, St. Henry American Legion Auxiliary and Coldwater Veteran's of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She retired from the former New Idea Plant in Coldwater and was a former owner and operator of Kite and Katy's Restaurant in St. Henry.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Henry Catholic Church. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
