The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Urban Holthaus
Urban H. Holthaus Sr., 93, Fort Loramie, died Jan. 30, 2011, at Versailles Health Care.
He was born May 9, 1917, in Fort Loramie to John G. and Anna Meyer Holthaus. On Oct. 14, 1942, he married Leona DeLoye, who died Nov. 13, 2007.
Surviving are five children, Dennis Holthaus, Dayton, Linda (Nick) Arling, Osgood, Urban (Theresa) Holthaus Jr., Fort Loramie, James (Karen) Holthaus, Fort Loramie, and Mark (Mary) Holthaus, Batavia; a sister, Alvina (Leonard) Peltier, Russia; two in-laws, Edward Meyer, North Star, and Urban (Bea) DeLoye, Sidney; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are siblings, Carrie Griesdorn, Emily Brackman, Lawrence Holthaus, Loretta Everman, Gregor Holthaus and two infant brothers.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Fort Loramie. He was also a member of the Fort Loramie Knights of St. John, the Fort Loramie Fire Department and the Tri-State Gas Engine Association.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
