The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Cleopha Strete
Cleopha "Cleo" R. Strete, 91, of Otterbein Cridersville and formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 4, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born March 15, 1921, in St. Henry to Louis and Anna Selhorst Lange. On Feb. 1, 1947, she married Ralph A. Strete Jr., who died Nov. 28, 1998.
Surviving are five children, Stephen (Janice) Strete, Charleston, S.C., Jeffrey (Kathy) Strete, Wapakoneta, Charles (Patti) Strete, Lakeview, Anthony (Lorraine) Strete, Troy, and Margaret (Dale) Crumrine, Wapakoneta; siblings, Cyril (Margie) Lange, Fort Loramie, Leroy (Beanie) Lange, St. Henry, Eugene Lange, St. Henry, Cletus (Edna) Lange, St. Henry, Louis (Martha) Lange, Wapakoneta, Marie Pottkotter, St. Henry, Wilma Dues, Philothea, Rita Schroer, Fort Recovery, and Frances (Lawrence) Gehret, Fort Loramie; a sister-in-law, Sally Lange, Celina; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are a brother, Elmer Lange, and a sister, Agnes Lange.
She was a graduate of St. Rita's Hospital School of Nursing, Lima, and retired in 1983 as a registered nurse at St. Rita's Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, St. Rita's Alumni Association, the Knights of Columbus Council 1272 Auxiliary and the DAV Auglaize Chapter 73.
A Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Hunt Officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.
Memorials may be given to the church's renovation fund or to St. Rita's Hospice.
