The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

John Dysert
John O. Dysert, 65, St. Marys, died at 7:07 p.m. Feb. 28, 2014, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 24, 1948, in Celina, to James and Rebecca (Rupert) Dysert. He married Cathy K. Shelby on May 24, 1969, in San Diego, Calif., and she survives.
Also surviving are four children, Brenda Garrigan (Dale Whittaker), Oviedo, Fla.; Connie Thielecke, Memphis, Tenn., John Dysert, Youngstown, and Jessica (Josh) Whitaker, Dayton; five grandchildren, Ashley Thielecke, Danielle Thielecke, Erin Garrigan, Katie Dysert and James Dysert; and two brothers, Roger (Vicky) Dysert, St. Marys, and Bill (Malina) Dysert, St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James V. Dysert Jr.
He was a 1967 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy, retiring from the Navy in 1990. He worked for many years as a car salesman at Kern's Ford in St. Marys. He was a real patriot. He loved the Cleveland Browns and golfing. His family meant everything to him.
Funeral rites will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home West Chapel, St. Marys, the Rev. Dan Hellwarth officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.
