The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Kenneth Eilerman
Kenneth F. Eilerman, 71, Fort Loramie, died March 2, 2014, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1942, in Sidney, to Albert J. and Marie (Bruns) Eilerman. He married Luella Geier on Oct. 22, 1966, and she survives in Fort Loramie.
Also surviving are his children, Christy (Mark) Winner, Minster, Scott Eilerman, Liberty Township, Brian (Nancy) Eilerman, Fort Loramie, and Jason (Christy) Eilerman, Osgood; eight grandchildren, Emily, Claire, Danielle, Clay, Ethan, Megan, Alayna and Peyton; brothers and sisters, Ronald (Susanna) Eilerman, Sidney, Judy (Robert) Grieshop, Willowdell, Barb (Doug) Shappie, Russia, Mary (Jerry) Brulport, Sidney, Edna Eilerman, Minster, and Sharon (John) Sims, Plain City.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael, daughter-in-law, Diane Eilerman, and a brother, Alfred.
He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, and an adult Mass server. He was a member of the National Guard for six years and worked for LeRoi Dresser for 47 years. He also volunteered for the Fort Loramie football line crew.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is in St. Michael Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
