The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

James Dingledine
James A. Dingledine, 70, 6793 Anderson Road, Celina, died at 8 a.m. Jan. 8, 2008, at his residence.
He was born March 7, 1937, in St. Marys, to Charles and Marie Pohlabel Dingledine. On Aug. 5, 1961, he married LaVera Ann Dorsten, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, James A. Jr. (Elaine), Columbia, Md.; two daughters, Christine (John) Martin, Bloomsburg, Pa., and Denise, Westerville; two brothers, Raymond, Lincoln, Neb., and Thomas (Mary Lou), St. Marys; and a sister, Rosemary Rye, St. Marys.
Deceased are two brothers, Charles and Robert.
He worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for 32 years and worked for 10 years as manager of Grand Lake St. Marys State Park. He also was deputy chief of District III in northeastern Ohio, overseeing 16 parks in the area. He was a 1955 graduate of Memorial High School, St. Marys, and served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home (West Chapel), St. Marys, the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher officiating.
Calling is after 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
