The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Harold Davis
Harold J. "Bud" Davis, 84, 511 E. Columbus St., St. Henry, died at 7:10 a.m. Oct. 15, 2009, at the Gardens at St. Henry.
He was born Feb. 10, 1925, in St. Henry to Alfred and Bernadine Romer Davis. On Aug. 5, 1950, he married Esther Stahl, who survives.
Other survivors are his children, Barbara (Marvin) Wourms, Dublin, Bill (Kathy) Davis, St. Henry, Deborah (Ken) Koules, Oakbrook, Ill., Ken (Karen) Davis, Dublin, Tom (Yvon) Davis, Dublin, and Jeff (Nancy) Davis, St. Henry; a sister, Mildred (Romie) Hausfeld, Maria Stein; brothers-in-law, Bill King, St. Henry, Don (Esther) Stahl, Celina, and Louie Stahl, St. Henry; sisters-in-law, Rita Borgert, St. Henry, Lucille Stahl and Sally Stahl, both of St. Henry, and Agnes Stahl, Chicago, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are five sisters, Thelma Fiely, Verna Thomas, Laura King, Mary Alexander and Leota Fink.
He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II where he was the recipient of a purple heart. He attended St. Henry Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Henry American Legion, Coldwater Veterans of Foreign Wars and a volunteer firefighter in St. Henry.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home,St. Henry.
