The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Clarence Kuhn
Clarence Eugene Kuhn, 88, 1510 Westbury Drive, Celina, died at 4:35 a.m. Oct. 15, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Dec. 23, 1920, in Mercer County to John and Ruth Cordier Kuhn. On Nov. 1, 1946, he married Alta Jean Warthman, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, John (Karen) Andrews Kuhn and Douglas (Sheryle) Kuhn, all of Celina; two brothers, Joe (Deloris) Kuhn and Ray (Betty) Kuhn, all of Celina; three sisters, Norma (Carl) Buck and Betty Thomas, all of Celina, and Naomi Bender, New Orleans, La.; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, George and Paul Kuhn; a sister, Mary Hults; brothers-in-law, Jack Hults, Dale Thomas, John Bender, Kenneth Checke and Lloyd Warthman; two sisters-in-law, Madonna Checkeye and Gladys Kuhn Shauver; and a grandchild.
He worked as a mechanic for Mercer County Garage for 41 years and at the former Crons Tire and Supply and Rodefelds, both in Celina. He attended Celina First Church of God and was a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both in Celina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a staff sergeant in the South Pacific for 3 years during World War II.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
