The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Thelma Aldstadt
Thelma E. Aldstadt, 86, of St. Marys, died March 31, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
She was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Corning, to Ray and Ruth Betts Latta. On Sept. 28, 1952, she married Everett Aldstadt, who survives.
Also surviving are three children, J. Douglas (Candy) Aldstadt, Ruth (Robert) Pruitt and Ron (Sharri) Aldstadt, all of Englewood; a brother, Don (Dee) Latta, Tipp City; a sister, Lila Rodgers, Washington Courthouse; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother-in-law, William Rodgers; and a granddaughter.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Celina, a daycare director and a volunteer at the church.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Revs. Jeff Conrad and Carol Sainey officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Polk Grove Cemetery in Butler Township in Vandalia, the Rev. John Wagner officiating.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Meyer Community Room at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys, and at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Contributions can be made to the church or the Otterbein St. Marys Benevolent Fund.
Arrangements are being handled by Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina.
